OLINDA COUNTRY COTTAGES & INN, BED AND
BREAKFAST on the island of Maui, Hawaii is located on the side of Mount Haleakala,
Maui's spectacular dormant volcano. The atmosphere is quiet; fresh country air abounds and
our 8.6 acre protea flower farm is a treat to explore. We are surrounded by 35,000 acres
of Haleakala Ranch, so the hiking in this area is spectacular! We are 30 minutes
from Kahului Airport and a leisurely drive from Lahaina resort areas and beaches. Formerly McKay Country Cottage, Ellen Unterman and Rupa McLaughlin have turned what always was a beautiful property into a truly spectacular experience. Ellen owned an antique shop in Santa Monica for 15 years and now an incredible country collection lives in both the romantic cottages, the superbly refurbished Tudor mansion which houses the B&B rooms, and the new Pineapple Sweet. |

OUR B & B INN is 5000 square feet of
cozy, country luxury. The top floor of the Tudor Mansion has two spacious bedrooms each
with private bath, and its own private entrance. It is decorated with lovely antiques
and collectibles, with beautiful ocean and mountain views. Our Inn guests share a large
living room and are served a sumptuous continental breakfast each morning.

Olinda Country Cottage (formerly McKay Country Cottage in Frommers, Best of Hawaii, etc.) is 1000 square feet of cozy, country luxury. You will have all the amenities including living room with fireplace, beautifully furnished with antiques and collectibles, fully equipped kitchen, lanai with outdoor furniture, bedroom with queen size bed, designer bedspread and curtains, cushioned window seats, wall to wall carpeting, color TV, telephone, washer/dryer, open beam ceilings, microwave, VCR, stereo, beautiful ocean and mountain views with horses grazing nearby.We will stock the refrigerator with fresh fruit, muffins, milk and juice as well as provide coffee and cereals for your first morning's breakfast. Thereafter you may stock up with as many groceries as you wish in the large side-by-side refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen. |

Hidden Cottage sits in a very private spot, hidden in Protea flowers, with views of green meadows, mountains, huge trees, and the ocean. The 950 sq. ft. cottage has three decks, with 8 foot French glass doors, full kitchen, bedroom with king size bed, bathroom, livingroom, all decorated in country antiques. There is also a T.V., VCR, stereo, washer-dryer, and on our large view deck, there is a very private, very special bathtub for two! Situated at 4000 feet, our romantic wood burning fireplace, will keep you warm during our winter nights. Usually, there are horses grazing nearby and friendly cats coming to visit. You can walk out your front door and hike for hours. |

THE PINEAPPLE SWEET |

One of our newest and most beautiful B&B suites is The Pineapple Sweet. Very private and cheery - it consists of a large kitchen and dining room area, a living room/bedroom and bath. It is decorated with antiques, hand crafted wood floors, and designer bedding. The "Sweet" looks out of french doors to our terrific view of the West Maui Mountains, Molokai and the ocean. |
